SYSTEMIC CONSTELLATIONS
according to Gunthard WEBER and Matthias VARGA Von KIBÉD
The Systemic Constellations method is an extension of the Family Constellations of Bert HELLINGER, applied to systems other than that of the family, to our living environments: work, career, studies, health, living environment, love / friendship, etc. …
It was launched in 1995 as part of the Company Constellations by Gunthard WEBER, doctor-psychiatrist, follower of Bert HELLINGER and practitioner of the method of Family Constellations from the start. It was then taken up and diversified by certain virtuosos of the Family and Systemic Constellations, notably by Matthias VARGA Von KIBÉD, philosopher of science, who developed the Structural Constellations.
The work in Systemic Constellations shows that certain conditions must be respected within any system to ensure its harmonious functioning. For example, in the context of Corporate Constellations, there are three fundamental systemic rules which are articulated:
The right to belong :
It applies without exception and in the same way to all members of a given system: the elements of the system come together like pieces of a puzzle to form a whole. The arbitrary exclusion of a member creates a vacuum in the system, which jeopardizes its integrity.
The respect of the functional order :
It requires each member of the system to fill his proper place and take on the corresponding responsibilities, no more, no less. In the workplace, this order relates to the hierarchical rank within the company as well as the seniority or merit of a member. The functional structure of the company is determined by the way tasks are distributed and the decision-making power.
The balance between giving and receiving :
This is an essential condition for success in human relations. Any donation (material or other) accepted automatically leads to a debt and claims a donation in return to restore balance in the relationship. Among colleagues, favours made must be returned or at least recognized for the maintenance of a climate of cooperation and good will in the work.
